O’BRIEN, Deborah Anne – age 73, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 26th, 2025, at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Petitcodiac, New Brunswick, she was a daughter of the late Floyd and Thelma (Lewis) Jackson.

Deborah loved all animals, big and small. She took great pride in her yard and the many animals who lived there and visited her and Bill, whether it be deer, the goldfish in the water fountain, the turtles enjoying the pond and even a baby porcupine, named peanut (to name a few).

Deborah will be greatly missed by her loving husband, William “Bill”; siblings, Julia Jackson, Moncton, New Brunswick, Dwight Jackson (Heather), Dieppe, New Brunswick, Synthia Blakney, Moncton, New Brunswick, Sandra Scribner (Justin), Vauxhaul, Alberta; extended family, Pamela O’Brien, Lee O'Brien (Darcy), Dawn (Jack) Seely; nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by siblings, Floyd Jackson and Brian Jackson; extended family Lois O’Brien, Richard O’Brien, Ricky O’Brien and Tanya O’Brien.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Homes, Shubenacadie and Elmsdale. A private family service will be held at a later date in Salisbury, New Brunswick.
