SULLIVAN, Charles Edward “Eddy” – age 78 of Oldham. Our hearts are shattered with the sudden passing of Charles Edward “Eddy” Sullivan who passed away on July 21st, 2025, in QEII Infirmary Site, Halifax. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Charles and Margaret (Slaunwhite) Sullivan.

Eddy grew up in Kline Heights, Nova Scotia where he met his bride of 58 years, Glenda (Robson) Sullivan. Shortly after their marriage Eddy and Glenda built their family home in Oldham.

Eddy loved spending time with his family and friends, listening to old records, teasing and making people laugh, fishing, coffee in the morning sun, the Rocky Mountains and hanging with his dog, Rosco. Let us not forget to mention his love for a big bowl of mom’s seafood chowder or an Alberta beef ribeye steak and an ice-cold Bud Light.

Eddy is survived by his wife, Glenda; children, Lisa Sullivan, Leanne Sullivan and daughter-in-law, Pam Sullivan nee Mitchell; grandchildren, Gregory Sullivan, Shaunda Sullivan, Jessica McLeod, Brennan Sullivan, Colton Sullivan and Gus Gilhen; 9 great grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Hamilton, Mildred Jones and Loretta Sullivan-Isenor.

Besides Eddy's parents, he was predeceased by his beloved son, Shane Sullivan; sisters, Masie Ryder, Edith Ernst and Vivian McIsaac.

Cremation has taken place under the care of Ettinger Funeral Homes Elmsdale and Shubenacadie. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
