Obituary of Michelle Claire Haynes
HAYNES, Michelle Claire – age 60 of Elmsdale, passed away on July 12th, 2025, in the QEII Infirmary Site, Halifax. Born in Sudbury, Ontario, she was a daughter of Leonard Hembruff and the late Donna (Snell) Hembruff.
Michelle loved exploring the beaches of Nova Scotia where she would look for interesting rocks and beach glass. She will be dearly missed by her loved ones.
Michelle is survived by her partner, Rodney Matthews; children, Darren, Kevin (Courtney), Joanne, Justin (Raylea); 8 grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place under the care of Ettinger Funeral Homes Elmsdale and Shubenacadie. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
