HARRIS, Leona Lena – age 94, of Hardwood Lands, passed away peacefully on July 9th, 2025, at The Mira Nursing Home, Truro. She was the daughter of the late Wilburn and Ruby (Corbet) Custance.

Leona is survived by her sister, Rose (Honey) Goodbrand; 5 children, Harold Lively, Marion Fraser (Russell), Judy Wile (Bruce), Joanne Osborne (Wade), Bob Lively (Kim); 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was loved by her Best Friend, Sylvia Goveia, and her family. Leona treasured her time spent with her great grandson, Jordan, and great granddaughter, Deliah.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by sisters, Jean and Gertie; husbands, Robert Lively and Allison Harris; daughter in law, Anne Lively.

Special thanks to the caring staff at The Mira, Leona loved each and every one of them!

At Leona’s request, there will be no funeral or visitation. A private burial will be held at Sandy Hill Cemetery, Belnan.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be sent to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
