DUPUIS, Jamie – age 39, of Nine Mile River, passed away at home on July 7th, 2025. Born in Fredericton, New Brunswick, he was a son of Lesley (Bray) and the late Edward Dupuis.
Jamie was a hard-working, generous, funny soul with a stubborn streak that showed up just as often as his heart. He spent years driving trucks and took pride in doing the job right. Jamie loved being out on the road but home was where his heart was. In his spare time, Jamie enjoyed puttering in the garage or relaxing with a movie or some good music in the background. He had a soft spot for animals, a deep loyalty to those he loved and a laugh that made you feel like everything was going to be okay. He was the kind of person you could call at any hour and he'd be there no questions asked. More than anything, Jamie loved his family, he was a devoted father, a loving partner and a true friend. He will be missed every single day by all those who knew and loved him.
Jamie is survived by his wife, Sarah; son, Marshall; mother, Lesley; aunts and uncles, Rick (Nancy), Dawn (Eric), Jeff (Lindz), Chuck, Sheila, Ron, Paul and many cousins.
Besides his father, Jamie was predeceased by his brother, Michael; grandparents, Robert & Arlene Bray, Adam & Florence Dupuis; uncle and aunts, David (Laura), Marlene.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Homes Shubenacadie and Elmsdale.
A Celebration of Jamie's Life will be held from 2 - 4PM, Saturday October 11, 2025 at the Nine Mile River Hall, 7160 Highway 14. This will be a casual gathering, friends and family are welcome to drop in, share a story, have a laugh and remember Jamie in their own way.
