Marion Ethel (Dennis) Williams
1933 - 2025
of Shubenacadie, passed away on her 92nd birthday, in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Truro on July 3, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Margaret Ethel (Dennis) Annand and step daughter of the late Albert Annand.
Marion was a stay-at-home mom while her children were young. Mom enjoyed her flowers and giving new flowers to friends. Loran’s wish was owning his own grocery store. They bought TB Lynch Grocery store in 1974 and sold the store in 1985 due to Loran’s health. Marion went to work at Ettinger’s Funeral Home for a number of years. After 21 years Marion retired from selling Nelson Monuments.
Marion is survived by her daughter, Angela, at home; grandsons, Cory (Tish), and Cody (Rae); great grandchildren, Clark, Jed, Maddison, and Bella; sisters-in-law, Eva, Ann and Elaine; many nieces and nephews and a number of cousins.
Besides her mother, Marion was predeceased by her husband, Loran; son, Wayne; brother Allen.
Visitation will be held 6-8pm, Monday, July 7, with a Celebration of Life at 2pm, Tuesday, July 8, both in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie, Rev. Glenn Eason officiating. Reception to follow. Burial in Brookside Cemetery, Mill Village.
