Allan Jerome Michael Paul "Allan J"
November 20, 1970 – June 27, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Allan J, whom left us on June 27, 2025, at the age of 54. Born in Truro, Nova Scotia, Allan J was not only a proud father, but a brother, uncle, grandfather and a devoted member of the Sipekne’katik community.
Allan will be lovingly remembered and missed immensely by his mother, Frances Paul; his beloved children, Rita, Allison, Allan Jr, Dalton, Devon, Alexandrea, Debra, and Aleigha. Along with his 7 grandchildren; his siblings, Johnny, Fran, Doug, Norma, Tammy, Glenda, Karen, Jason, Shelley, Jolene, Marcel, and Rosalyne. Allan J had many nieces and nephews whom he cherished along with his godchildren.
He was predeceased by his father, Allan Paul; stepfather, Roland Marr; son, Angus Paul; sister, Charlotte Googoo; infant brother, Lucian Marr; grandparents, Levi Paul & Leona (Copage), Levi Googoo & Nancy (Marble); godparents, Stephen Julian (Glam) and Hilda Labillios (Copage). Whom all were very important influences in his life.
Allan had a deep passion for hunting, fishing, and sports especially baseball, hockey, and wrestling. In his younger years he was a proud champion in wrestling. Known for his strength, determination, and competitive spirit. His love for athletics was only matched by his dedication to his work as a security for the Sipekne’katik community. Allan served with loyalty and pride always looking out for the safety and well-being of others.
Allan will be remembered for his quiet strength, his fierce love for his family, and unwavering dedication to his community. His presence will be deeply missed but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Visitation will begin at 12pm on Tuesday, July 1st, 2025, at the Indian Brook Cultural Cabin #3 (beside the ballfield), 20 Mamio'mi Lane, Indian Brook. Until time of send off at 3pm on Thursday, July 3rd, 2025, at the Indian Brook Ballfield. Cremation to follow.
