WILLIAMS, Tammy Annette – age 51, of Halifax, passed away suddenly on June 25th, 2025, at the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Hartford, Connecticut, U.S.A., to John Norman Williams Jr and Theresa Morris and grew up with her two brothers John Norman Williams 3rd and Adam Pelc.

She moved to Nova Scotia in 1992 and had her two daughters Alexa and Adrienne Williams. She travelled around but always made it back home to Nova Scotia. Where she accomplished her business degree at Eastern College, then went on to teach and complete her Masters of Arts in Gender and Women’s studies. Also a PhD in the near future.

She spent many years teaching, where she was admired for her innovative teaching methods and unwavering commitment to her students.

As an educator and a mother of two, Tammy seamlessly blended her roles as an academic mentor, nurturing mother and grandmother.

Tammy is survived by her daughters Alexa Williams and Adrienne Williams and leaves behind many grandchildren.

Her absence is felt by many who knew her and she is missed by family and friends.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Homes, Shubenacadie and Elmsdale. Visitation will take place 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Sunday, June 29th, 2025, at Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie.
