Myrna Edna Caldwell

1943  -  2025

CALDWELL, Myrna Edna, age 82, of Shubenacadie, passed away May 18, 2025 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro.  Myrna was born in Middle Musquodoboit and was the eldest child of William and Frances (Fisher) Hamilton.

Myrna had worked as an administrative assistant for the Municipality of East Hants. She enjoyed many card games, but especially doing the daily word puzzles with her sisters and sister in-law. Myrna was very kind and generous to all her family, offering a place to stay-be it a short or long stay, the door was always open. She will be greatly missed by all those who loved her dearly.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Bonar Caldwell; brother, Gary (Joanne) Hamilton; sister, Doreen (John) Tucker; sister, Peggy (Ernie) Yantha; many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sister, Sharon Hamilton.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie.

A celebration of Myrna's life will be held from 2-4pm Saturday, September 27th in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie. All are welcome and refreshments will be served.

Donations in Myrna’s memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
