My most sincere condolences to Marc's family.
I have good memories of Marc. Remembering him walking Melinda down the aisle
And yes he made an amazing fish chowder. And let's not forget his sharing of his whiskies - some of them brought from places all over the world.
Sincerely
Stewart Montgomerie

Sharon and family.
Very sorry to hear of your loss. It's a loss to all of us as well.
He and his parents were so very close to our family in heart and neighborhood. Growing up with Marc's humor was contagious
We also got into lots of trouble. Bihing his tough solid stance and take no nonsense was a deep soft and compassionate heart. A heart of Gold. Even though we lost touch for a number of years, when we would get back together, no love had lapsed. It was like we were kids again. We will miss his presence and hope that his presence remains with in us.
Sending prayers for peace and healing to you all.
When we were 6 Marc's mom (Sis) set out a cardboard box with flour in the bottom for us to play in with our matchbox cars.
Leaving us alone in the kitchen wasn't the greatest idea, as Marc quickly became frustrated with the lack of road space. He did question his next move , he stopped and looked at me for a minute...you could see the gears in his head moving around running the series of potential consequences. and then said "screw this" Needless to say, when his mom came back to check on us, we had quite the infrastructure of flour roads across the entire kitchen floor.
The clean up was , least to say very involved. Which reminded me that Marc always liked to do it big if he could get away with it.
Love you brother.
Michael Michieli.

Well, where do I begin…..I remember the day very clearly when you asked me to give you a job with Mercator on one of the supply boats in Tuktoyaktuk. I did and you started at the bottom and the rest is history! I’m so glad I was able to give you a start to the wonderful career you achieved. I enjoyed the many phone calls we shared and all the laughs and memories we had. My deepest condolences to your family. RIP my friend. You will be missed.

Your very touching last Facebook messenger chat with me in September last year was both an extremely sad moment and enlightening at the same time.
Time for you to rest now your work is done, you will be sorely missed and your memory lives on.

So sorry to hear of Marc’s passing. Marc was a close school friend of my late brother Ted Merchant. My Mother went to grade school with Marc’s Mom. After my brother’s passing in 2005, Marc reached out to share memories of my brother. It was comforting. Marc and I remained in contact for years after. Always a great story to tell, and Marc I enjoyed everyone. Rest Easy brother… my condolences to the family. Dave.
