Carol & Family:
Our deepest condolences on your loss of Jim. He certainly was a gentle soul. Can't believe we celebrated his 80th birthday not long ago. He was so upbeat and made sure he got around the room. This is how we will remember him. Jim enjoyed all their Wharf Rat Rally trips very much and will truly miss not having Jim to ride with. Great memories were made and cherished.
Carol you were very kind, compassionate and steadfast in your commitment to Jim. Thank you for that. May all your fond memories of Jim warm your heart in the days and weeks ahead.
Take care,
Jim & Chris Hughes

So sad to have heard of this tradic loss, condolenses to the family. I have only known Jim for just over 10 years and no surprise I met him at Tim Horton's, from there we did a few motorcyle trips together with some other Tim friends He was such a pleasure to be around and so kind. We didn't need to worry about where the gas stations were for our motorcycle trips or the price at the pump, Jim had it all figured out. I never did meet Darlene but I have known Carol from the beginning of her existance into Jim's life. They were great together and I know he was happy again. Jim was a great friend and always interested in what I had to say. Our visits with Jim and Carol most recent didn't happened due to us moving away from the province, but a phone call from time to time always happened. I will miss Jim's stories from his truck driving days running to Newfoundland with bricks and he was very valuable to the company that he worked for and a great loss when he retired I'm sure. Our memories of Jim will last forever as like others I'm sure. Rest In Peace our friend you were special.
