Lloyd Douglas Cruikshank Obituary

CRUIKSHANK, Lloyd Douglas – 76 of Elmsdale, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2025 with his loving family by his side. Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Laurence and Beatrice (MacLaughlan) Cruikshank. Lloyd was an avid bowler and his friends called him kingpin. He enjoyed gardening and was the handyman of the neighbourhood. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Anne, sons, Douglas and Mark, granddaughters Kaylee (Carter Goyetche) Gonzales, Madison Gonzales, sister in-law, Aileen Fancy, many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sister, Stella Warnell. Cremation is under the direction of Ettinger Funeral Home 860 Hwy 2 Elmsdale, NS. Visitation will take place on Saturday, April 19, 2025 from 1-3pm. No service by request. Donations may be made to the Parkinson Society of Nova Scotia or the Magnolia Recreation Centre, The Magnolia Continuing Care Community.
