Obituary of Wendall Clarence Harper

HARPER, Wendall Clarence – age 66, of Beaverbank, passed away on April 4th, 2025, at the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Cecil and Hazel (Rafter) Harper.

 

Wendall was a former employee of Sackville Trenching Ltd.. He enjoyed spending time taking drives and looking out the kitchen window, where he could see everything. But most of all Wendall loved spending time with his wife, Karen.

 

Wendall is survived by his loving wife, Karen Logan, Beaverbank; daughters, Amanda, Shila (Dan), Jana-Lynn, all of Veron, B.C.; grandchildren, Dominick, Trinity, Sophia Ostafew, all of Veron, B.C.; brother, David Harper; twin sister, Wendy (Paul) Harper, Beaverbank; sisters, Cecilia Dayton, Lower Sackville, Pam Harper, Calgary; mother-in-law, Brenda (Wilson) Ross, Enfield.

 

Besides his parents, he is predeceased by sister-in-law, Juanita; brother-in-law, James Dugas; father-in-law, James D. Wilson; his beloved four-legged little girl, Kayla.

 

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Homes, Shubenacadie and Elmsdale. A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Friday, May 16th, 2025, at St. Thomas Anglican Church Cemetery, Fall River. Rev. Patty McKenna Officiating.
