William Campbell Richardson Obituary

RICHARDSON, William “Bill” 88, formerly of Eastern Passage/Westville.


Passed away peacefully on March 27, in the Ivy Meadows Care Home with his loving family by his side.


Born in New Glasgow, he was the son of the late William and Janet (Thompson)Richardson.


 


Bill worked for Frigidaire as the Atlantic Region Service Manager. He enjoyed wood working


which he proudly shared with everyone. He had a passion for Nascar and enjoyed many live


races. He always had an interest for trains and travelling.


 


Bill is survived by his first wife and long-time companion, Marlene Hatt; son, Stephen (Darlene);


daughter Linda Anne (Ted Bernard); six grandchildren; 11great grandchildren.


 


He was predeceased by his second wife, Barbara; son, Peter; grandson, Travis; sister, AnneKearley.


 


Memorial service will take place April 5, 2025 at 1pm at South End Baptist Church, 60 Hastings Drive, Dartmouth,


Rev. Elias officiating.


 


Family flowers only. Donations may be made to NS Alzheimer’s Society or a charity of your choice.


 


Special thank you to the staff of Ivy Meadows where Bill called home for the last two years and was treated like family.
