BAYER, Edith Evelyn – age 75, of MacKay Siding, passed away suddenly on March 15th, 2025, at her home. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Christine (Wright) McNeil.

Edith’s grandchildren were her world, she loved spending time with them any moment she could. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Edith is survived by her children, Heather, Donna (Doug), Kevin (Marianne); 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 5 sisters; 2 brothers; numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, John.

Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, March 20th, 2025, at Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie. Burial will take place at a later date.
