Obituary of Frances Eileen Inkpen

INKPEN, Frances Eileen - age 69, of Nine Mile River, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 31, 2025. Born in Halifax on December 17, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Douglas and Fannie (Dunn) Inkpen.

Fran is survived by her spouse, Earlin White; siblings, Deanna Rainforth, Ellen Langille and Rupert Inkpen; and nieces and nephews, Kristy, Victoria, Calvin, Aimee, Wendy, Andrew and Keira. She was predeceased by her brother, Douglas, and her sister, Sandra. 

Fran worked at IMP for over 40 years before retiring to enjoy her hobbies and spending time with her family, including her dogs, Jack and Lily. 

Fran was an avid reader who enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and watching her shows. She also enjoyed travelling, exploring in her younger years, vacationing in tropical destinations in the cold winter months, and yearly cottage trips to Pugwash with family and friends. Fran was never without a four-legged friend to love and spoil. She was a very loving Aunt who will be missed dearly.  

Cremation and a private family burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
