NIEFORTH, Freeman Marsden, age 91, of Lantz, Nova Scotia, passed away on September 3, 2024 in Elk Court, Brookfield.

Freeman was a brick, block and stone mason all his career, working in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and South Carolina.  He enjoyed attending classic car shows.

He is survived by sons, Marsden Nieforth, Shawn (Susan) Nieforth; daughter, Janice Preeper; all of Lantz; grandson, Hunter Preeper, Esquimalt, BC brother, Sheldon (Wilma) Nieforth, Ontario; several nieces and nephews.

Freeman was predeceased by his wife, Rachel, brother Chester Nieforth; sisters, Mary MacLeod and Beulah Woodworth; son-in-law, Bruce Preeper.

Cremation has taken place.  A private family service will take place at a later date, as per Freeman’s wishes.
