Obituary of Ruth Ethel Ross

ROSS, Ruth Ethel, age 96 of Lantz  

It is with great sadness the family of Ruth Ethel Ross (Bower) announce her passing on December 3, 2021, in the Halifax Infirmary. 

Born in Avonport, Ruth was a daughter of Archie and Annie (Carey)Bower. 

The family moved to Lantz when Ruth was a child and she lived there the rest of her life. 

Ruth is survived by her children Paul (Erma); Peggy and Carla (James); grandchildren, Derek (Amy) and Paula (Shawn); brother, Morris (Barb); sister-in-law, Connie; many nieces and nephews. 

She was predeceased by her husband, Carl, sister, Marjorie; brothers, Ralph and Victor. 

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Ettinger Funeral Home. 

UPDATED:  A committal service will be held in Christ Church Cemetery, Lantz on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at 2:00PM.

The family wishes to thank the staff of 4.2 at the Infirmary, for their care and compassion.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the VON or a charity of your choice.
