Obituary of Catherine Josephine Kingsley

KINGSLEY, Catherine Josephine-age 92, of Halifax, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2021 in Magnolia Continuing Care, Enfield. Born in St. Margaret’s Village, she was a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (MacNeil) MacNeil.

Catherine is survived by her sons, Doug (Verna) and Randy; daughter in-law, Darlene; grandchildren, David, Janet, Karen, Cathy, Carolyn, Shane, Robert Brendan; 11 great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; sister, Julia (Eddy) Wiess; 3 nieces and 2 nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Elaine and her daughter’s husband, Umberto Cesaroni; the father of her children, Robert James Kingsley; sister, Tina Boucher; brothers, Stewart, Larry and Cordell; a grandchild in infancy.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. A service will be held at a later date.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff at Magnolia Continuing Care for the care and compassion they provided to Catherine.
