Thank you cousin Marg, for the visiting, and the communicating. Through you, I felt connected to Mary's spirit in her final days. I cherish memories of visits to the house in Stewiacke. She was an amazing big sister for Fran, of that we can be sure. Blessings to all my relations! Thank you, Mary, for your courageous life. Heart felt gratitude to all who cared for her in Pugwash. May our healing continue to grow in Mary's memory.

I didn't know Mary. Looking at that photo, I see myself in her eyes. I wish I had known her and also wish I had a greater connection to my Havey side and all the fine people that carry that name. Distance, it seems, overcame family. I have memories of a family trip to Stewiacke and the ocean, rivers, towns and churches... the people, the farm, the orchards of Annapolis. Perhaps it is these early memories that seeded my kinship with coastal living. Here in Vancouver, I give thanks for this opportunity to reflect and wonder. Deep condolences to all. I will make a donation to the Garden Fund in memory of Mary. Bill Dow
