Obituary of Lois Marilyn McCrimmon

McCRIMMON, Lois Marilyn, age 81, of Nine Mile River, passed away August 27, 2021 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro.  Born in Almonte, Ontario, she was a daughter of the late Oswald and Christena Illingworth.

Lois enjoyed playing cards and Bingo.  She was known to everyone who knew her as “Grannie”.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, Neville “Mac”, daughters Darlene (Gerald), Marci, Cheryl, Vickie (Gerry), and Dawn (Scott); grandchildren, Heather, Denise, Melissa, Katelyn, Cassandra, Jesse and Emma; great-grandchildren, Gage and Blair; sisters, Bev (Luke) and Joan; brothers, Mac and Ray Illingsworth; numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son David, several brothers and sisters.

A private graveside service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
