Obituary of Cashton James Peter-Paul

PETER-PAUL, Cashton James, “Summerflower”, age 11, of Indian Brook, passed away on August 14, 2021 in the IWK Health Sciences Centre, in Halifax, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.  Born in Truro, she was a daughter of Alicia Peter -Paul and Josh Preeper.  Cashton was a strong and brave individual who fought for her life until the very end. 

Besides her parents, she is survived by siblings, Sophia, Mary, Melody, Marley and Ryan; godchild, Jenny, grandparents, Tammy Peter-Paul (Conrad), Jo-Anne and Joey Preeper: Barb Hill (Reg); great grandmothers, Jenny Paul and Theresa (Ben) Brake; great grandfathers George Paul and Gerald Augustine; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was predeceased by her biological father, Oliver Hill, grandfather, Steve Peter-Paul, great grandparents, Sheila and James Dingle. 

A visitation will be held beginning 2pm Tuesday August 17, 2021 at her parents’ home, 122 Brown Flats Road, Indian Brook until time of service on Thursday. A funeral service will be held at 10am on Thursday August 19, 2021 in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie, Rev. Canon David Fletcher officiating.
