Dear Barb and Family,
Please accept my sincerest condolences on Leon’s passing. During the course of one’s life there are always memories that stand out. One of such memories was meeting Leon. When I was a fairly new golfer I once played on his scramble team. This was when the mixed scrambles were a huge deal and rumour was that Leon’s team was one of the better ones to be on. He did not disappoint! Not only was he a great golfer who obviously loved the game, but he was so encouraging, fun, and a true gentleman. I always enjoyed getting the occasional round in with you and him and missed seeing both of you around the course.
