Obituary of Bonita Lynne Brightman

BRIGHTMAN, Bonita Lynne “Bonnie” – age 74, of Maitland, passed away at home on May 5, 2021. Born in Latties Brook, she was a daughter of the late James and Rose Tipping.

 

Bonnie was an accountant for the Municipality of East Hants for 25 years. She enjoyed crafts, gardening and her special puppy dogs, Body and Dory.

 

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Ray; sons, Scott, Anthony and stepson, Greg; grandchildren, Gage and Kassi; sister, Diane Ross; brother, Bob Tipping.

 

She was predeceased by son, Devin; daughter- in-law, Julie.

 

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home.

 

A private graveside service will be held. A celebration of life will be held at a later date when COVID 19 restrictions are eased.

 

Donations in memory of Bonnie may be made to the Mental Health Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
