Obituary of Betty Minor

MINOR, Elizabeth Marie “Betty”  - age 74 of Wittenburg, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2021 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Truro, she was a daughter of the late Layton and Bessie (Pulsifer) Dodsworth.

Betty had a passion for gardening. She loved hosting gatherings for her family and friends. Betty spent time volunteering at Friends of the Garden at the Agricultural Campus, Truro. She will be dearly missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Betty is survived by her children, Shane and Natasha (Steven) Spicer; granddaughters, Ashley and Sydney Spicer; siblings, Pearl Chambers, Phyllis (Bob) Burnett, Margaret Dodsworth (Tony), Mark (Wendy) Dodsworth; numerous nieces and nephews, who she greatly loved.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Arthur.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. No service by request.
