Dear family,
I had the pleasure of meeting Joanne this year on a few occasions. She cared deeply for her daughter, and was keen for her to have something to do. She gave her life to her.
She was calm and reliable, a rock.
Her death is devastating news. I am sending you heartfelt condolences from Halifax.
I hope to come to the wake.
