Obituary of Vaughn Ralph Knockwood

KNOCKWOOD, Vaughn Ralph – age 60, of Mission, BC., formerly of Indian Brook passed away peacefully February 13, 2020 at home. Born in Amherst, NS, he was a son of the late Ralph and Yvonne (Francis) Knockwood.

Vaughn had several jobs throughout his life and was a skilled furniture maker. He had a successful business and his work was greatly admired. He volunteered at churches as well as at the Native Friendship Centre in Mission, BC to serve food for the homeless. Vaughn was a warrior and protector in Mission and a talented drummer. He loved everyone and will be greatly missed.

Vaughn is survived by daughter, Barbara Knockwood, Toronto; siblings, Donna, Robert, Roddie, Colin, and Brian; and a large extended family.

Besides his parents, Vaughn was predeceased by brother, Michael Knockwood; sister, Debbie Knockwood; a niece and nephew.

Visitation will be held at 20 Poplar Street, Indian Brook beginning 3pm Sunday February 23rd until funeral mass at 130pm, Tuesday, February 25th in St. Kateri Roman Catholic Church, Indian Brook, Father. Ron Cairns, Celebrant. Burial will follow. A Salite will be held in the Community Centre.
