To Sven's Family...............I had the opportunity to work with Sven aboard the Training Ship STATE of MAINE for the last 17 years. He was one of the most knowledgeable and hard-working individuals I have ever met. On top of that, he was always a gentleman. A wonderful guy in every way. The AS 1 team in Germany are deeply saddened by the loss of Sven, a valued member of the Service family taking care about the MSE product over and beyond. Sven brought dedication, skill and a positive spirit to his work, leaving a lasting impact on those who worked with Sven over the years. This is a tremendous loss for his family, the Service organization and community. Our thoughts are with Sven’s family, friends and loved ones during this difficult time. May they find comfort in the cherished memories of a life that was far too short but full of purpose and meaning.
My deepest condolences to Sven's family. I spent many hours working with Sven over the past few years. I uploaded some pictures from just a few jobs where we worked together. Whenever away from home Sven would find the time to facetime his family, daily if possible, no matter where we were working. He often spoke of his talented children, taking great pride in their accomplishments. Sven would take a call from a co-worker no matter what time of night or day. I admired his commitment to his family as well as our customers. Sven is missed as an irreplaceable colleague and friend.
