Charles and I have just got back from visiting our daughter and her family in Alberta. We were very happy having enjoyed our visit, however we were greatly shocked and saddened to have learned about Phil's passing and imagining how distraught Linda and her family must be. We've known Phil & Linda for a long time and he will be greatly missed. Charles worked with Phil mowing lawns for a few years and I have known Linda for most of my life, having shared stories of our fathers' (Pete Laffin & Sam Archibald) shenanigans when they were younger. Just remember, we will all see our loved ones, "in the sweet by and by we will meet on that beautiful shore" as hopefully the words of that beautiful old hymn brings comfort to us. ~ Charles & Mary Mansfield

So sorry to hear of Phillip's passing. Such a friendly & sociable man. Most of us at Sobeys got to know him & Miranda. He always had time for a chat. I know he will be dearly missed.
