It's been a year without our dear, sweet Lauren. I never wrote anything about her here because I didn't know what to say. I loved Lauren endlessly and always wanted the best for her. She was one of my best friends for many years. Some of the worst years of my life she made better with her smile, her humor, & her optimism. If I needed her she was there, no matter what and I will be eternally grateful for the years we spent as close friends. To Laurens other close friends and family, I'm thinking about you today and every day. I love you Lauren. I miss you so much. With love, Jade Bennett

Lauren, you were one of my roommates in the Clayton park townhouse back when I went to Msvu, where I also first met you. It wasn’t the best roommate situation, however I’m glad that we never had any animosity towards one another. You were always fun to hang around with and have a drink or two with. Fly high, and to all of Lauren’s friends and families. I am so sorry for your loss. The loss is unmeasurable, but so is the love left behind for Lauren as well. Jenna MacDougall

Our children are one of the most important parts of our being together and bringing into this world that little bundle of joy. I met Lauren my first year of university, at the Mount. She at the time was dating a classmate of mine, and clicked with her right away. She was warm, funny, kind and loved Disney! She was so unapologetically herself- and I truly loved that. I remember one Canada Day I hadn’t seen her in a while, heard someone call my name and it was Lauren! She gave me the biggest hug, and we had a wonderful chat. We stayed in contact mostly online- but she was so wonderful. When my dog passed suddenly last year, she was one of the first to reach out to me. She was compassionate, sincere, loving and kind. We didn’t get to see each other much, but whenever we did message- it was always great catching up! She will be dearly missed, and I am so thankful for the time I did get to spend with her- and to know her. Knowing Lauren was a gift honestly, genuine hearts are hard to come by. I hope you’re resting easy Lauren, but your short time on this planet touched the lives of so many- I’ll remember you always.

Deepest Condolences to her Family. Lauren was one of those amazing individuals that are rare to find today. Her bubbling personality was alway a welcome sight at work (Circle K) for both her fellow employees and customers a like. If customers didn’t know her name and asked about her, they always described her as the “One who’s always smiling”.

I had the pleasure in 2017 of working with Lauren at blue ocean call center in Halifax. She was always so pleasant to be around always had a contagious smile on her face. I met a lot of people working there bur Lauren, Sarah and Jade stand out to me. As the three of them were always together. My condolences to Lauren's family and friends. I will be making a donation in her name to the spca.

Hi, my name is Derek King and I knew Lauren fairly well. Her and I met during the Summer of 2023... we spent time together at her place sharing some meals together and laughing and enjoying time with her and her pets. We went on walks with her dogs, road trips to the beach and back and forth to Truro.. we spent hours playing video games and showing each other our talents and hobbies. Unfortunately i decided it was time to further my career and I left her to move to another province... during that time we kept in touch online as if we never truly parted ways. It was with the most deepest condolences to have lost a good friend like her. We were there for one another... it'll never truly feel the same know she won't be there anymore. The sting is unfathomable. I hope we can all take some comfort in knowing whatever suffering she had is no more. I'm sorry I never got to meet any immediate family but time never allowed for it.. Thank you for reading. On a brighter note, she bought me a sweater before I moved to Alberta in which I absolutely love and will cherish.. much like any of the time we spent together.
