I knew " JOAN " as a Friend for at least 50 years. I can not recall in all that time, any time that she was not in a Cheerful, Happy state of mind, even through the many years of illness she endured she kept a Positive, up beat outlook on life. Perhaps this was do to coming from a large family or simply that she was a native born Newfoundlander! Joan was definitely a Positive influence on all those who knew her. It is a Sad and Dark Day for us whom mourn her passing from this World, However, Heaven is just a bit more brighter and happier place now.

I have so many happy and funny memories of Joan, there's too many to mention. She was a comedian, a poet, and just lit the room up when she walked in. My sincere condolences to the whole family.

Sending my love to all of the family. Aunt Joan was a fantastic lady, who showed strength and determination through the years. She was full of wit and humor, and always full of laughter. Sending sincere condolences to Don and family at this very sad time. I have so many great memories of Joan through our association at the Enfield Legion. From July 1st parades, to Remembrance Day, and Camp Hill Veterans visits in the pictures shared here, and many others too; there were so many good times. She fought a long hard battle with health issues but never once complained; just smiled and carried on. She was a special lady and will be missed by everyone who knew her.
