Thursday, February 1, 2018Mark and Susan I am saddened to learn of your father’s passing. As noted your father was an active community-minded person in his early years. I remember Bill well for his commitment coaching minor baseball in Sydney. The many hours and days he spent with myself and my friends and teammates at the nearby field; practices and games. He taught us much and most importantly he had a nice manner doing so. I have met your dad at various times over the past number of years and he was always interested in me, my family and the boys from the old neighborhood. I enjoyed our conversations and he would always mention you with pride. I lost contact with him as he moved about and I was not aware that he was on the mainland. He will be missed.
