Please share a memory of Phyllis to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
SWEETAPPLE(GAUDET), Phyllis Marie – age 77 of Dartmouth passed away peacefully on May 30, 2017 in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Concession, she was a daughter of the late Gerald and Louise (Landry) Gaudet. Phyllis enjoyed cooking, swimming and flea markets. She loved to shop! She had a lot of friends she had met over the years as she searched for her latest treasure. She had quite a collection of tea cups and clocks. Phyllis lost her daughter many years ago and felt this loss everyday since. We are comforted in knowing they are reunited now. Phyllis and her brother, Nelson enjoyed scuba diving back in the 1950’s, surely making her one of the first women scuba divers in Nova Scotia. She is survivied by her loving husband, Hubert; children, Darren Peter (Rhonda) Klingerman, Shubenacadie; Robert, Montreal; grandchildren, Marcia and Meagan Klingerman, Shubenacadie; great grandchildren, Olivia, Delilah and Gerald; brother, Aaron Gaudet, Halifax. She was predeceased be her daughter Marcelle (age 14); brother, Nelson Gaudet and sister, Dianne Saulnier. No visitation by request. Arrangements are entrusted to Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. A graveside service will be held 1pm Friday, June 2, 2017 in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Forest St., Yarmouth, Deacon Steven Burke officiating. Donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Condolences, words of comfort and memories of Phyllis may be shared with the family at www.ettingerfuneralhome.com
