Passed away suddenly in Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia. Predeceased by his mother, Marian Oliver. Survived by his father James (Nancy); sisters: Doris (Murray) and Tori and niece, Elaine (Chris). Steve leaves behind his partner, Bonnie Miller; daughters: Angie (Corey) and Amy (Steven) and grandchildren, Jenna and Logan. Remembered fondly by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, especially: Bill Maitland, Murray Bradt, Amanda, Zach and Phoenix. Steve was a truck driver all his life and had a lifelong love of trucks, tractors and vehicles. One of his favourite annual events was the Bobcaygeon Parade and Fair. He would see and catch up with so many of his friends. Fond of history, his pursuit of knowledge of World War I provided him with so many interesting hours of research and memorabilia. In recent years, Steve enjoyed keeping in touch with his many friends and family through Facebook. A funeral service will take place at the Hendren Funeral Home, Monk Chapel, 6 Helen Street, Bobcaygeon on Sunday April 9, 2017 at 2:00 p.m., with visitation to commence two hours prior.
