Obituary of Tyrone Anthony Carter

Please share a memory of Tyrone to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
CARTER, Tyrone-age 45 of Lantz, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 21, 2017 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Born in Etobicoke, ON, he was a son of Donna (Johnson) and the late Reg Carter. TC grew up in Calgary and moved to Nova Scotia in 2011 with his wife and children. TC was everyone’s “go to” guy to fix anything and everything. He worked so hard in life for all his accomplishments. He loved camping, fishing, hockey, baseball and coaching little league. TC was always the “life of the party”. His infectious laugh and crooked smile was his signature that he will leave on this world. His love for his boys and Heather will be eternal. Besides his mother, he is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Heather; sons, Tanner and Hayden; brothers, Derek (Kathy), Calgary; Ryan, Truro; David, NB; sisters, Brandy (Jack), Truro; Leslie (Candido), Toronto; Rebecca, Truro; many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. No visitation by request. A Celebration of Life will be held 1pm Saturday, February 25, in the Corridor Community Church, 980 Highway 2, Lantz, Pastor Ryan Raymer officiating. A reception will follow. A Memorial Service will be held in Calgary in the spring. Donations in memory of TC may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Canada or Craig’s Cause. Condolences, words of comfort and memories of TC may be shared with the family at www.ettingerfuneralhome.com
