Obituary of Angus Stanley Paul

PAUL, Angus Stanley, Indian Brook. With heavy hearts we announce that Angus Stanley Paul, 17, passed away peacefully with family by his side, October 12, 2016. He was born July 7, 1999 in Sydney, N.S. to Allan J Paul II and Marion Nicholas. He was a member of the Faith In Action Holiness Church. Angus was a student at South Colchester Academy where he had a significant impact on the students and staff. Angus was the heart and soul of his classroom as well as an integral part of the school community. He was a member of the varsity cross country, soccer, basketball, track and field teams. He won numerous awards for his participation in school sports. Angus was also a gold medalist Special Olympics athlete in track and field over the past number of years. People knew Angus as an avid fisherman, who was passionate about people, had a quick wit and could draw a smile from anyone. Angus had an amazing sense of humor, and was good to all who had the pleasure of meeting him. He will be remembered as thoughtful and helpful to all. Angus will be greatly missed by all his families, teachers, support staff, classmates, peers and teammates. Angus is survived by his parents Allan J Paul II, Marion Nicholas, and Edward McLellan, his siblings Ramona Morris, Rita Nicholas, Justin McLellan, Allan Paul Jr. III, Allison Paul, Dalton Paul, Devon Paul, Alexandria Paul, Debra Mae Paul, and Aleigha Paul. As well as his adored nieces and nephews Oden Paul, Drake Nevin, Nevaeh Paul, Taleigha Peter-Paul and Kaidynce Paul. His cherished grand-parents Francis Paul (Googoo), Bill and Cassie McLellan, and godmother Jolene Marr. He was predeceased by his grandparents Allan J. Paul Sr. and Agnes Nicholas, great grandparents Levi and Nancy Googoo, Levi and Leona Paul, Godfather Russell-Wayne Googoo and many aunts and uncles. Visitation will be held 10am Saturday until time of service, 5pm Monday October 17, both in Indian Brook Community Centre, Indian Brook, Pastor Burke and Earl Sack officiating.
