Obituary of Rylan Alexander McDonald

MCDONALD, Rylan Alexander, age 9, Indian Brook, passed away suddenly, surrounded by his loving family on September 28, 2015 at the IWK. He was the son of Teressa Augustine and Alexander McDonald. Rylan was a vibrant young boy, who was loved unconditionally. He was very kind, and always willing to help others, especially those younger than him. Rylan had a smile that lit up the room. He had a special bond with his aunts and uncles and all his cousins. Rylan enjoyed playing football, baseball, soccer and swimming. He also enjoyed playing video games and watching WWE wrestling. Other than playing sports and games, Rylan loved spending time with his family, especially his Gram. Rylan Bear will be greatly missed by his family, friends and everyone that knew him. Besides his parents he will be sadly missed by his sister Hayven; paternal grandparents, Janice Paul and Alexander McDonald Sr.; aunts, Bobbie-Jo (Greg), Michelle (Newt), Angie, Jennifer; uncles, Darrell, Travis, Kyle, Mikey and Danny; many loving cousins, several great aunts and uncles; god parents Sharleen, Katrina and Willie. Rylan was also a proud god father to Kovey. He was predeceased by maternal grandparents Angeline and Darrell Augustine, Auntie Carrie and Uncle Jamie. Visitation will begin 2pm Thursday October 1, 2015 at 89 Dowie Road, Indian Brook, until the time of the service, 11 am Monday October 5, 2015 at St. Kateri’s Roman Catholic Church, Indian Brook, Father Michael Walsh officiating.
