BENERE, MARGUERITE ANNE-Age 87, passed away peacefully on Sunday September 20, 2015 in The Mira, Truro, with her daughter by her side. With sad and heavy hearts we wish our mother and grandmother a very peaceful journey to heaven. She suffered way too long on this earth. She was a daughter of the late James Mackenzie and Muriel (Spares) Wilson. She was employed at several different jobs which include Sears in Halifax, Oakfield Gold Course, and her last job was with the Tourist Centre by the Stanfield Airport. She is survived by daughter Margaret (Benere) Rushton, grandsons Paul (Joanne) and Shawn (Andrea), 5 great grandchildren, Emily, William, Maren, Julia and Liam, sister Irene (Roger) Comeau, brother Murray Wilson, sisters in law, Florence E. Wilson and Florence M. Wilson. She was predeceased by husband William and brothers, Stuart, Murray “Buddy” and Ralph, and step mother Marjorie Wilson. Funeral Service will be held 11am Friday Sept. 25, 2015 in Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie, Father Michael Walsh officiating. A reception will follow in the funeral home.
