Obituary of Elva Amelia Isenor

ISENOR, Elva “Diddy” - age 86, of Lantz, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2015 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Lantz, she was a daughter of the late Blanchard and Anna (Isenor) Ashley. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and loved being surrounded by her family and friends. She loved to crochet especially the baby blankets for the grandchildren and great grandchildren and donated many beautiful items to the IWK. She was an avid gardener. She is survived by her children Hugh (Margaret); Mike (Connie); Kim, all of Lantz; daughter-in-law Sonja; grandchildren, Jeff (Janice); Ryan (Tara); Greg (Gail); Robin (Brian); Raylee (Wayne) ; Dawson (Melanie); Holly; Alexa (Jon); great grandchildren Bradley; Emily; Brooke; Ian; Jocelyne; Kaitlyne; Keighan; Quinn; Brogan; Finley; Kingston; siblings, Kaye; Ferne; Murray “Wigg” (Linda); Reid (Carolyn); sister-in-law Helen; many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Currie; son, Marven; brothers, Wayne and Dwight. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home.
