MAUGER (MacDonald), Joan Barbara– 76, Enfield, passed away peacefully at home on April 19, 2015. Born in East Point, PEI, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Mary Emmeline (MacIntyre) MacDonald. Joan loved animals, flowers, sitting outside and enjoying nature. She devoted her life to caring for others. Her children and grandchildren were her world. She enjoyed music, especially live music at gatherings of family and friends. She is survived by her loving partner, Andrew McDowell; sons, Darrell (Margaret), Milford; Everett (Kathy), Sarnia, ON; grandchildren, Brittany, Keegan, Evan and Liam; great grandson, Adam; sisters, Dorothy (Vincent) Scott, Monica (Leo) MacDonnell and Lorraine MacDonald; brother, Lewis (Helen) MacDonald; sister-in-law, Denise MacDonald. She was predeceased by son John Graham Mauger; brothers, John Wayne MacDonald, Sterling MacDonald; sisters, Patricia MacDonald and Gloria MacDonald. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Ettinger Funeral Home. No visitation by request. Funeral Mass will be held 10 am, Wednesday in St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church, Enfield, Rev. Michael Walsh officiating. Reception to follow in the church hall. Private family interment in St. Bernard’s Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
