DOGGETT, Angus Laurence - age, 72, Pine Grove, passed away peacefully in the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax on March 14, 2015. Born in Liverpool, he was a son of the late Harvey and Vera (Freeman) Doggett. Angus worked as a Liquid Assayer in the mining industry for many years. He later worked at the Co-op in Milford for several years. He valued education and hard work. He enjoyed gardening, sitting on his back deck enjoying nature, crossword puzzles and reading. He particularly enjoyed visits with his grand-daughters. In his later years, Angus developed an appreciation for taking the time to enjoy life's simple moments. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Debra (Hiltz); two sisters, June and Faye. He is survived by his daughter, Michelle (Edwin) Fraser; two grand-daughters, Jessie and Gillian; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their deep gratitude to the staff on 6.1 and 6.2, QEII for the excellent care given to Angus. There will be no visitation by request. Funeral service to be held in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie on Friday, March 20th at 1pm, Rev. Mary Anne Grant officiating. Spring interment in Sandy Hill Cemetery, Belnan. Donations in Angus' memory may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Health Sciences Foundation or Sandy Hill Cemetery, Belnan.
