PARKER, Jeanne D. - of Urbania, Hants County passed away with her family at her side Wednesday October 30th, 2013 at the QE 11 Halifax Victoria General Hospital. Born at West Gore on October 23, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Ashley and Dorothy (Whalen) DeWolfe. Jeanne was first employed at Cooks Grading Station in Milford and then as a PCW at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Truro for twelve years from where she retired. She enjoyed playing 45's and cribbage, working at Church suppers, knitting and making apple pies. Surviving are her husband Donald ,daughters Leila (Robert) Larmand of Petawawa, Donna Elias of Urbania and son Allen of Urbania, also grandchildren Brandon, Brittany, Sarah, Stacey ,Michael, Catlin, Haley and great grandchildren Brennen, Alyssa, Austin, Aleah and Carter. She is also survived by sisters Mary Dalrymple of Enfield and Edith Barron (Murray) of Rawdon Gold Mines. Jeanne was predeceased by a brother Edward DeWolfe. A graveside service will be held on Monday November 4th 2013 at 2 pm at South Maitland U. C. Cemetery with Rev David LeBlanc officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Diabetes or Cancer Society. There will be a reception following the service at the home of Donna Elias 11955 Hwy 215.
