MacDONNELL, Burton Hartford - 69, of Enfield left us on October 23, 2013. Born in Enfield, where he was raised and lived his whole life, he was the son of the late Hartford and Mary MacDonnell. He worked hard his whole life doing any job that needed to be done. He loved the outdoors and especially his family. He loved training and spending time with his right hand, Jack (man's best friend). Burton is survived by his wife Shirley, children Dwayne, Enfield; Penny (Alex), Ontario; Scott (Tammy), Alberta; grandchildren Colton, Marina, Jordan and Andrew; great grandchild Faith; brothers Robert, Lantz; Kenneth, Enfield; Lorne (Irene), Noel; Hartford (Debbie), Enfield; Michael (Alma), Enfield; sisters Rita (Edward) Buchanan, Ontario; Eva (Michael) Probert, Enfield and Ellen (James) Hnatiuk, Enfield. He was predeceased by his first wife Marjorie Graham, brothers Raymond, James, Louis, Ronald and sister Jean. He will be remembered and missed by his many nieces and nephews, sister-in-law's and brother-in-laws. Cremation has taken place under the care of Ettinger Funeral Home. No visitation by request. Funeral Service 10am Saturday, October 26, in St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church, Enfield, Father Frank Pellerin officiating. A reception will follow in the Royal Canadian Legion, Enfield. Thank you to family and friends for their help and support. A huge and heartfelt thanks to the VON, Dawn and Dr. Smith from Palliative Care, who helped us give him his last wish.
